The Hampton Roads Quality Management Community focuses on actions to support deployment and execution of Continuous Improvement initiatives among regional organizations.
Initiatives that transform the capacity and productivity of entire organizations take place on a scale different from that of efforts to improve operations of a work center or a department. True transformation is characterized by startlingly high ambitions, the integration of different types of change (organizational, operational, commercial), and a prolonged effort often lasting many months and, in some cases, even years.
In support of such broad effort, the HRQMC regional context and institutionalized agenda provides the critical cultural elements needed to enable workforce personnel and management to become stakeholders of change.
HRQMC is a non-profit Community of Practice.
Organizations participating in the Community include:
- Amadas Industries
